Wounded by Pastors, Healed by Christ: A Journey Through the Desert
Have you ever felt heartbroken by the very people who were supposed to shepherd your soul? If so, you're not alone. I have felt the sting of this in my life as well. I've felt unheard and misunderstood by pastors, and I've heard many say some horrendous things about those they are supposed to care for.
There is a reason this happens all too often, aside from the fact that we are all human. At the core is a theological issue.
I want to share my raw, honest testimony. I have loved Jesus from a young age, but who found myself all too many times shattered—not by the world—but by the failings of church leadership. After serving faithfully in ministry and attending seminary, I began to see behind the curtain of modern evangelicalism, where power, ego, and outcomes often replaced love, truth, and faithfulness.

I want to share the pain of watching pastors care more about building earthly empires than shepherding lost souls.
See, there is a deep despair that sets in when church leaders refuse to stand for righteousness and when pastors and other Christian leaders prioritize growth statistics over gospel integrity.
This disillusionment led me on a decade of wandering—a spiritual wilderness where trust in people vanished, but the love for God endured.
I didn't understand why this was happening to me. I hope you'll go on the journey with me!
