Politicians love to throw around the Bible when it's convenient for them. Yet, do they really understand what they are quoting and do they butcher the Bible more often than not for political purposes?

On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz quoted Matthew 25:40 to make a point about immigration. In this video, Father Don Purdum says that Walz is insincere in the quote and wonders if the immigrants should be taken care of and respected as the "least among us," does that make him inconsistent on issues such as abortion?
